Our Mission |
The idea of the French Trade Club was first mooted and initially launched in November 1999. Under the Pro Tem Committee this idea was consolidated and the name changed to more appropriately reflect its objectives. |

Objectives |

To provide a mutual forum of exchange for French and Bruneian business partners as a means to strengthen business relationships. |

To disseminate economic information to members on matters of interest and to serve as a means of discussing such matters. |

To develop the image of Brunei in France and vice versa to promote trade, commerce and industry. |

To develop business opportunities between Brunei and France. |

Executive Committee |
Made up of high profile business people and well represented from the International Chambers of Commerce, the Malay Chambers of Commerce, the Chinese Chambers of Commerce and BIMP-EAGE economic business council. The Executive committee is elected on a yearly basis. |

Made up of private business people in Brunei Darussalam with French interests and or potential French interests /partnerships and government officials who are honorary members. |

Registration |
Under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Jean-Pierre Lafosse, Ambassador of France in Negara Brunei Darussalam, the French Bruneian Business Association (FBBA) was officially inaugurated under its new name on 30 June, 2000 in Bandar Seri Begawan. On 14 September, 2000 the French Bruneian Business Association is an official bonafide association that is fully registered with the Registrar of Societies (number 581). |
